Welcome everyone to the ACRA golf tournament! The tournament is next Friday (September 29th) at Atlantide (Don Quichotte course) in Ile Perrot. If you don’t know how to get there, once you get in Ile Perrot, just turn on Don Quichotte boulevard and continue until the end, you can’t miss it (check Google Maps).

 

We have 64 golfers for the tournament (see list attached and what hole you start on). We have a shotgun starting at NOON. Please make sure to arrive at the course no later than 11:15. We should be leaving for the different holes on the shotgun around 11:45. We have holes 1 thru 9.

 

When you arrive at the course, park right away in front of the boutique (to your left). There should be people from the course to take your bag and put it on the cart. If you want to practice, there is a driving range and putting green next to the Atlantide course (can’t take your cart – bring clubs to practice) just past the clubhouse.

 

We expect to play in less than 5 hours. Please make sure to always follow the group ahead of you. You cannot bring alcohol beverages on the course. There will be a cart going around for beverages. There are two main washrooms. One after hole #1 and #14 (also get food if needed) and one after hole #6 and #10.

 

We have two holes with competitions for men and women: hole #12 will be for the longest drive (men and women) and hole #17 will be for the closest to the pin (men and women).

 

The long-range weather forecast is excellent. Should there been rain, we will still play unless the course is closed. We will still have the dinner in case of rain. On the day of the tournament, we will email all of you if there are unexpected events affecting the tournament. If you don’t get an email, just show up.

 

The dinner will be at 18:30 in the club house dining room (up the hill). After the tournament, you can use the locker rooms (located under the club house – near the terrace). When you go in, look for the lockers for guests. The dinner will be a buffet with roast beef, chicken, pasta, vegetables, desert, and coffee. We will have a bar opened before the dinner (cash bar). Wine with the meal will also be at your own expense. We will have a few door prizes after dinner.
